Job Overview:

As the FMCG Sales Manager, you will be responsible for leading and managing all aspects of FMCG sales operations in Jordan, including developing sales strategies, building and maintaining customer relationships, and achieving sales targets. You will leverage your experience in the Jordanian market to drive business growth and maximize market share. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in FMCG sales, excellent English and computer skills, particularly in Microsoft Excel, and a proven track record of success in a similar role.


Key Responsibilities:

1. Develop and Implement Sales Strategies:

  • Develop comprehensive sales strategies and plans to achieve sales targets and objectives in the Jordanian market.
  • Identify growth opportunities and market trends to drive sales growth and increase market share.
  • Monitor and analyze sales performance metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of sales strategies and initiatives.

2. Manage Sales Team:

  • Lead, motivate, and mentor the sales team to ensure alignment with company objectives and targets.
  • Set clear performance goals and objectives for the sales team and provide ongoing coaching and feedback to support their development.
  • Conduct regular performance evaluations and implement corrective actions as needed to ensure team success.

3. Build and Maintain Customer Relationships:

  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with key customers, distributors, and retail partners in the Jordanian market.
  • Identify customer needs and preferences and develop tailored sales solutions to meet their requirements.
  • Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms with customers to drive profitable growth and maximize revenue opportunities.

4. Market Analysis and Intelligence:

  • Conduct market research and analysis to identify emerging trends, competitive threats, and opportunities for growth.
  • Monitor competitor activities and market dynamics to inform strategic decision-making and sales planning.
  • Utilize market intelligence to develop proactive strategies and initiatives to maintain a competitive advantage.

5. Sales Forecasting and Planning:

  • Develop accurate sales forecasts and demand plans based on market trends, historical data, and customer insights.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, supply chain, and finance, to ensure alignment of sales plans with overall business objectives.
  • Monitor sales performance against forecasts and adjust plans as necessary to achieve targets and objectives.

6. Reporting and Analysis:

  • Generate regular sales reports, dashboards, and analytics using Microsoft Excel and other tools to track sales performance and KPIs.
  • Analyze sales data and trends to identify opportunities for improvement and optimization.
  • Present findings and recommendations to senior management to support decision-making and strategic planning.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in FMCG sales, with a proven track record of success in the Jordanian market.
  • Strong leadership and management skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a sales team.
  • Excellent English language skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications, with advanced skills in data analysis, reporting, and modeling.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and implement sales strategies, drive business growth, and achieve sales targets.
  • Strong negotiation and interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain relationships with customers and partners.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret sales data and market trends to inform strategic decision-making.
  • Proactive, results-oriented, and detail-oriented with a focus on delivering high-quality outcomes.
