Job Summary:
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Company Secretary to join our dynamic construction company in Jordan. The ideal candidate will have excellent organizational and communication skills, prior experience in the construction industry, and a strong command of English and Microsoft Office tools.
Key Responsibilities:
- Organize and coordinate office administration procedures.
- Manage daily correspondence, emails, and phone calls in English and Arabic.
- Schedule and prepare for meetings, take minutes, and follow up on action items.
- Maintain company records, files, and important documents in an organized and secure manner.
- Handle administrative tasks related to construction project documentation, tenders, and contracts.
- Liaise with suppliers, subcontractors, and internal departments.
- Assist in the preparation and submission of regulatory and compliance documents.
- Ensure smooth communication between management and staff.
Requirements:
- Proven experience (minimum 2-3 years) in a similar role within a construction company.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English and Arabic.
- Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
- High level of integrity, discretion, and professionalism.
- Ability to multitask and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related field.
- Familiarity with construction-related documentation and terminology.
